Viper Standard Visor

The Viper Standard Visor is a lightweight and easy to use protective enhancement to the Batlskin Head Protection System. We have the visor and absolutely love the concept. We found the visor nice in that you can wear sunglasses underneath the visor. We like the ballistic protection it provides, the anti-fog performance, and the fact it sits in our standard NVG mount. We enjoyed being able to lift the visor up out of the way on our helmets. You completely forget you are even wearing it. The visor is also cheaper then most of the eye protection we have looked at.

During our week-long SWAT training in January, I had the opportunity to use your visor. I was impressed with the visor's performance. When breaching or explosive entry for example, there is no need for me to use my goggles with built-in corrective lenses. Whomever designed the visor was spot-on, as it permits use of the patrol rifle with the visor down due to a small curvature near the operator’s nose. It is very easy to run a red dot sight, i.e. Aimpoint T-1 on my M-4, with this cut-out.
