Galvion Founder and CEO to Become Executive Chairman and New CEO Appointed; Galvion Positioned for its Next Phase of Growth

Galvion, a world leader in the design and manufacture of military head protection systems and power and data management solutions, announced today that its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Blanshay, will transition into the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Following this move, the company is pleased to announce the appointment of Todd Stirtzinger as the new Chief Executive Officer.

“As Galvion continues to grow and scale in multiple domains, I want to dedicate my energy to broader strategic goals.  In my new role as Executive Chairman, I will have the time to focus on initiatives, innovation and partnerships that will support Galvion’s evolution,” said Blanshay. “Todd brings a vast amount of industry experience to Galvion and has been an active member of our Board of Directors for over a year. He understands our history and mission and has the right balance of operational expertise to shepherd our team as we continue to evolve and advance.”

Todd Stirtzinger is an experienced executive with more than 30 years in the Aerospace & Defense industry holding leadership roles for high technology, innovative organizations. Todd spent 20 years in executive and senior management roles leading P&L business segments of Aerospace & Defense corporations including L3Harris, Leonardo DRS and Alion Science & Technology (now a part of HII, Huntington Ingalls Industries). His most recent role was President of ZNGR Advisors, an advisory organization providing experienced management consultative services focused toward executive and operational leaders within high-tech manufacturing organizations.

“Jonathan has built Galvion on a solid foundation of innovation, customer-focus, and dedication over the past 21 years. The last few years, in particular, have seen enormous growth and diversification as the company moves into more advanced integrated systems,” said Stirtzinger.  “With a succession of key head system program wins, an expanding global footprint and headcount, and the launching of new products across new technology areas, there is an incredible momentum and energy within the company right now.” He added “I’m excited to work with this committed team to deliver on our vision to give the world’s most demanding military and tactical teams the integrated solutions they need to succeed on the modern battlefield.”

About Galvion:

Galvion designs, develops, and delivers mission critical head, face, and torso protective solutions as well as intelligent power and data management systems for the world’s most demanding military and tactical teams.   Founded in 2002 as Revision Military, a foundational belief in calculated investment and capability expansion led to a strategic refocus, resulting in the divestiture of the protective eyewear business, along with the Revision name, in 2019. Rebranded as Galvion, the company’s products and technology continue to evolve beyond purely passive protection, focusing instead on active systems that enhance performance and survivability, with an eye to the ever-changing demands of the modern battlefield. Through advanced design, keen end-user insight and intelligent integration, Galvion engineers uniquely customized solutions that go beyond what was once thought possible.
